Yay!! Another Gina K release! I always do a happy dance whenever there’s a release, but I get even more excited when I get to release a set I designed.
So here it is! My newest stamp set, “Whimsical Wildflowers”.
This set comes complete with a full set of dies so you can cut out all those whimsical florals and leaves.
Next we have “Thankful and Blessed”, a stamp set filled with beautiful hand lettered greetings. I especially LOVE the “You are the Pumpkin to my Spice” greeting. Pumpkin Spice EVERYTHING is so popular right now and it is the most adorable way to tell your special someone how perfect you fit with them.
Disclaimer: Full time college just started up for me again and let me tell you; they have been keeping me BUSY! That as well as working full time. It has been such a busy month for me, so I apologize that I don’t have many cards to show. I will definitely be posting many more.
For this first card, I inked up the small sunflower image and leaf in my set with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with white embossing powder. I then blended various colors of Distress Oxide Inks on Gina K Heavy Base Weight White Paper. I love this paper. It is so smooth and absolutely PERFECT for ink blending.
I stamped one of Emily’s beautiful greetings and popped it up with foam squares near the bottom of the card. Then I adhered it all to a white card base. No layers, because I didn’t want to distract from that pretty ink blending. Super simple card all done!
For this next card, I stamped the Peony and a leaf from my set all over in a random pattern on a piece of white cardstock with Blue Denim Ink. I then cut out Gina’s word die “Thankful” in her Gold Cardstock. I used the shadow die from the Stitched Leaves Die set to create a Blue Denim background for the gold word. I think it added a lot. Plus I didn’t have to worry about how I was going to pop up that thin word die onto my paper, so it was a win win in many instances.
I added the “for all you do” at the bottom and inked it in white pigment ink. I stamped it in white pigment ink instead of embossing it in white for absolutely no reason. I guess it was because the heat gun wasn’t plugged in. Which makes no sense because they are quite easy to plug in. My brain just takes a nap for a second sometimes haha. I finished off the card by giving it a gold layer and slapping it onto a Blue Denim base.
Here are a few other cards I made.
I call this one: “Muddy Garden” haha
Go take a look at the amazing projects done by other members of the Gina K. team! Don’t forget to comment on each blog so you are in the running to win a $50 gift certificate for the Gina’s online store.
Thank you all so much for stopping by! So excited to keep creating things for y’all!
