Stamptember Blog Hop

Stamptember!!!!! Welcome again everyone to my blog. And welcome to Stamptember, the fabulous month long stamp party hosted by Simon Says Stamp.

Today I am featuring Joy of the Season by Gina K Designs.

Isn’t that set beautiful? And there are even matching dies to go with it! Another lovely set designed by our lovely Queen Gina K ❤️

For my first two cards I used the beautiful tree line stamp to create a watercolored night scene.

This one is more sunset-like.

You may think I went a little overboard with the “snow”, but I was just going for a realistic Wisconsin winter. All those who live in Wisconsin know EXACTLY what I’m talking about. I just love summer in Wisconsin. Last year it was on a Wednesday.

For this card, I basically just inked up a bunch of snowflakes and stamped them on a white piece of Heavy Base Weight White Cardstock. I stole a couple little snowflakes from my Holiday Wreath Builder set to give more variety. You can use the Wreath Builder stamps in more than just one way, and that’s yet another reason why I love the sets so much.

And for my last card, I inked up the same snowflakes in Amalgam Ink and created a snowy scene using two different colored watercolors. I splattered some white paint on it to create a look of falling snow. I then used the greeting “Kindness is like snow. It beautifies everything it touches.” If this statement is true, Wisconsin has gotta be the prettiest place around.

Go take a look at the amazing projects done by other members of the Gina K. team! Don’t forget to comment on each blog so you are in the running to win a $50 gift certificate to Simon Says Stamp!

Thank y’all for stopping by! ❤️🤟🏽

I love your writing style and your creative style. I’m a new blog follower — these cards are just gorgeous and your comment about Summer in Wisconsin was a hoot! The backgrounds on these tree cards are outstanding but I like the top one the best. I can only dream of making something this pretty and love that all of those of you who are creative share with those of us who dream about it!

The trees stamp is my favorite in this set!

I can so relate to you having your Wisconsin summer on a Wednesday… I live in Alaska! 😉
There’s a cartoon going around that says, “We only had rain twice this summer! Once for 45 days and the other for 35 days!” That’s been our summer here this year! But we’ve had sun the last two weeks… summer at last!
