Good morning everyone!
I have four cards to share with ya’ll today using products from The Gray Muse. If you are unaware of the how amazing and wonderful she is, go check out The Gray Muse website. She has a plethora of gorgeous, high quality enamel pins, as well as recently – fabulous clear stamps. I will be using these stamps often and creating even more designs with them, but today I have a few cards I can’t wait to show you.
So without further ado, lets get started!
For my first card, I stamped the beautiful “Hugs” Stamp Set in Antique Linen Distress Ink.
I then took my Mission Gold Watercolors and colored in this beautiful image. I used Antique Linen Distress Ink because it is very light and difficult to see once the image is colored. It is one of my favorite Inks for no-line watercoloring. My other favorite is Gina K Designs Warm Glow Amalgam Ink. Both of these Inks are perfect for no-line coloring.
Next, I used the “Be Kind” Stamp Set, but instead stamped it in Gina K Designs Obsidian Amalgam Ink. I use this ink all.the.time. It is compatible with Copic Markers, Colored Pencils, and Watercolor. It gives such a deep, crisp impression each time I stamp it, even on toothy watercolor paper.
I didn’t do the no-line technique for this card, just to show you all the difference between the two. Which technique do you prefer?
I just LOVE these two stamp sets because the image and greeting are all in one! All you have to do is stamp the image, color it, and viola! A perfect greeting card all beautiful and done.
For my next card, I took the lovely “Happiness Blooms” Stamp Set, and heat embossed it with White Embossing Powder.
I then colored it my with Winsor and Newton Watercolors. I went for a very pale, washed out watercolor look for this card. My goal was for it to be very subtle. This stamp set has to be my favorite in her line. I am in love with large floral arrangements and this one is no exception.
For my last card, I used the adorable “Dogs in the Craft Room” Stamp Set and colored the cute little puppy with my Copic Markers.
I used a stencil from Gina K Designs and ink blended Chipped Sapphire and Salty Ocean Distress Oxide Ink to create the striped background. I then took Thermoweb Glitter Dust Spray, A.K.A., the most amazing glitter invented by mankind, and sprayed it all over the background.
I then took the cute little pups and popped him onto the background. It is a super simple techinque, but ADORABLE!
Well, that’s all the card samples I have for you today!
