Hahahahahaha see what I did there in my title 🤣 I’m such a dork.
Well for those of you who don’t get my joke, today the design team is featuring the new Gina K Designs Kit called “A Big Hello”.
Bad dum tiss. Ok, ok, you can stop laughing now 😁
I’m in love with everything about this kit from the cute mini heart stencil to the happy little herbs 🌿
I LOVEEEEE herbs and growing my own plants, so I was so thrilled when Alicia drew these happy little plants and made them into stamps.
I did no-line watercoloring to make the cute little plant come alive (actually not quite sure which herb this one is called… I said I loved growing my own plants, y’all, not that I was a pro…), and used a sentiment from the Friendship Hearts stamp set to finish it off. I also used the Gina K Script Background stamp to add a little more interest.
For my next card, I used the Big Hello stamp set and stamped the images in very light ink, and watercolored over them, even though they’re solid image stamps! I told y’all, there’s no limit to what you can watercolor 🤍
I would just like to apologize quickly for the terrible lighting in these photos. I am currently writing this blog post at 11 o’ clock at night. I was happily brushing my teeth getting ready for bed tonight, when all of a sudden I remembered that I actually had a job lol. So I hurried and took these pictures with pitch black darkness as my natural lighting and put together this post. Oh well. What can you do 🤷🏻♀️
Well, I would just like to thank you all for the wonderful responses on my artwork and my stamp set these last few days. All your love and samples you’ve been showing have really, truly blown my mind and I can honestly say that the Gina K family is the best ❤️ I know that I may have almost forgotten about posting for you guys, but what’s a family without a little disfunction?! 😂 Just leave it to me to fill in that role 🤪
But seriously, Y’all rock immensely ❤️💋 XOXOXOXOXOXO
Until next time,
(Up next on the hop, the wonderful Karen Hightower 💋)
