Good morning you beautiful people, you.
Today, I choose to be thankful for scheduled blog posts that go live on the time I tell them to so I don’t have to be up at exactly 8 a.m. to post this card because I. AM. NOT. A. MORNING. PERSON.
You can just ask my husband 😁 He’s all bright and cheery in the morning when he says goodbye to me before he leaves for work, and I’m lucky if I even hear half of what he’s saying and get out a coherent “goodbye honey” 🤭
The stamp release this month was so lovely and I am already blown away by all the amazing samples I’ve seen by the design team and guest design team.
Today I am sharing a card made with Melanie Muenchinger’s new stamp set called “Stately Flowers 13”. This is the final set in the stately series and for those of you out there who have them all, you are the real ones 💕🙌🏽 I would just love to own them all someday 😍
I used the pretty Cherokee Rose flower to make a whole bouquet of Cherokee Roses that aren’t in fact Cherokee Roses because I know very well that Cherokee Roses are white. But I wanted to paint them blue yesterday. So I did. And I’m not ashamed 😂
You could paint them green and red if you want. Just as long as you ENJOY yourself. There aren’t any rules for art. And if there are, I choose to ignore them and paint however my heart desires 🤍
These florals are also so versatile, so you could really make them into any 5 petal flower if you wanted.
This blue paint color is just mesmerizing 🤤
Well that’s all I have for today, stay tuned for tomorrow when I have a bunch of samples using three more gorgeous sets from Gina K 🤗
Up Next, Karen Hightower 💋
